But Levis and a pullover won't cut it on Thursday, when the 27-year-old from Minnesota appears in character at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Parade peepers will get a preview of Osnes in her fairy-tale finery and see her go from rags to rapturous.

“Laura Osnes: Dream A Little Dream – Live At The Café Carlyle" was released Sept. 18 on the Broadway Records label. The album, recorded live during Osnes’ June 2012 engagement at the Café Carlyle, features special guests Jeremy Jordan and Tom Wopat as well as her husband, Nathan Johnson.
